I'm an Electronic Engineer currently living in Oxfordshire in the UK. Originally I'm from South Africa and have only been in the UK for a bit more than six months now.

My main interests include electronics (specifically digital / embedded systems), photography, computers and Formula 1. I'm hoping to combine most of these interests in my hobbies documented on this website.

This is my latest hobby. So far I haven't gone much further than buying my first train set and running it around some. Right now my focus is first on creating my own electronic bits for the set and then I'll also look at building my own models - I haven't played with paper mache for probably close to 20 years!

The Electronics section will cover quite a wide range of stuff. Right now it ranges from initial design planning for a bit of model railroad technology, to selecting a microprocessor development board on which I'll be doing some embedded stuff.

Besides linking to off-site photo albums, I'm also looking to create my own web photo album scripts and put new photo albums on this site.
